Host a Python bot (discord.py)

For a Python bot, create a server with Python 3.10–3.13. Upload your main file and a requirements.txt with your dependencies (discord.py, aiohttp…). The panel runs pip install on start. For the token, use os.environ['TOKEN'] and declare the variable in Startup.
Tip: on 128 MB of RAM, a simple discord.py bot uses 40 to 80 MB. If you load many cogs, watch your usage.
Migrate a bot from another host

- 02If you use a database, export its data before shutting down the old server.

Debug a bot that won't start

The most common errors when starting a hosted Discord bot:
- Invalid token — make sure the variable is set without trailing whitespace.
- Missing intents — since Discord API v10, some intents must be enabled in the developer portal AND declared in the code.
- Missing dependency — a module not listed in package.json or requirements.txt.
- RAM exceeded — the bot crashes and restarts in a loop. Optimise or upgrade to Standard.
- Discord rate limit — too many requests too fast. Use your library's rate limiter.
